All guides in Cordillera Bike are licensed by the Administración de Parques Nacionales (Argentinian National Park Service).We are probably not the fastest nor the strongest cyclists. And by no means the most handsome ones... However, we are convinced we will share the place we love in a safe way so that you feel free to enjoy your ride. Discovering new hidden trails, testing your endurance uphill, and feeling the adrenaline on fast downhill trails are some of the sensations we can offer to you.
Our guided rides could be half or full-day, group or private.

After picking you up at the hotel, we'll arrive at our spot and select bikes and helmets. We'll have a brief talk about the trail and safety, and... off we go!
All our rides include:
- bikes
- helmets
- a licensed guide with thorough knowledge of the trail and communication gear.
- back up vehicle. NB: this service may not available in some trails (completely o partially).
- mineral water and snacks,
- health insurance.
- transfer from/to the hotel.
NB: It may sometimes be necessary to modify on the run the arranged route, either for security reasons or due to circumstances beyond our control.
According to the group dynamics, in all our trips there’s the possibility of riding some extra kilometers.

Frequent Destinations:
Lake Gutiérrez - Colonia Suiza: A frequent mountain bike ride for beginners. From Lake Gutierrez, we ride along trails and paths with very little or no traffic at all. We will come across Casa de Piedra Stream until we reach the traditional settlement of Colonia Suiza.
Duration: 4 hours (approximately).
Distance: 22 km (approximately).

Cerro Catedral: Setting off from the shore of Lake Gutiérrez and after warming up through different paths, we head to a long ascent arriving at the base of the ski resort. After a small break, we begin riding uphill along an exciting and challenging trail. The ride finishes at the same starting point.
Duration: 3 1/2 hours (approximately).
Distance: 26 km (approximately).

Ñirihuau Valley: An introduction to the Patagonian steppe. Gradually, we begin to discover a completely different and magical landscape through a byway. During the first part, in case of wind, it will surely be on our backs. And if we are lucky enough, we will probably be able to see some condors as we ride. We will always be riding by the river until we require to cross it, after that, we'll have something to eat, and later head back facing some uphill trails. This is one of the rides that will give us a chance to get to meet and interact with the locals.

Small Circuit: The most traditional excursion of Bariloche can also be enjoyed by bike! And it is often done on your own. Just rent the bike, and that's all you need. You'll enjoy the views of the legendary Llao Llao Hotel, the Llao Llao Municipal Park, Villa Tacul, Lake Escondido, López Bay, Stream López, Panoramic Point, Lake Moreno and El Trébol Pond. A stroll through the woods and a break in the shore of one of the lakes, dip included... in summer, of course! Combining this ride with a hike in Cerro Campanario on foot or by chairlift, before or after cycling, is a great idea. Small Circuit's popularity relies on the fact that in just 25 km you'll be able to enjoy a range of scenic views of the Andean Patagonia: mountains, lakes and woods!

Full-Day Group Rides:

Limay Valley: The Limay River empties the waters of the Lake Nahuel Huapi into the Atlantic Ocean, and this is a ride that takes place by this river. The views we will find along the way are breathtaking. The steppe will welcome us as we retrace a byway through a typical Patagonian Estancia. We will finish at a rural town where we will start our return, but not before regaining some energy!

Manso River Valley:: Known as "Pasarelas", this is a full-day excursion which means we will need to travel 80 km south before starting to cycle, this will give us the chance to enjoy 4 different lakes. Once at our starting spot, we will ride through a typical Patagonian rain forest. In the meantime, we will be riding by the Manso River in part of its journey to the Pacific Ocean. The houses of traditional settlers will become part of the dazzling scenic view. And crossing through different streams without getting wet will be almost impossible!
